About this piece
It started as one quick question. Now there are seven open encyclopedias, a feather quill, an alarming number of bookmark ribbons, and a hedgehog who has not noticed the sun go down. The research phase is, as ever, ONGOING.
Drawn as an antique naturalist bookplate in charcoal-black ink: towering stacks of leather-bound references, loose manuscript pages, pressed flowers, and a little scholar utterly absorbed, framed by wild roses and ferns in a single muted moss-green accent.
For the gently obsessive — the people who fall down the rabbit hole on purpose and have no plans to climb back out. You'll get to the actual task eventually. Probably.
The artwork leans devotional without becoming costume: candle flame, moon phases, and quiet floral ornament arranged like a private altar with excellent table manners.
Printed on soft ringspun cotton with a lightly weathered finish, so the whole thing reads less novelty tee and more found object with excellent timing.
