Socially Distanced
I Have Made It Awkward
Candlelight, moonlight, and a refusal to explain yourself twice.

About this piece
A Victorian cat gentleman in full formal attire — suit jacket, waistcoat, bow tie — caught mid-departure, tipping his top hat in a respectful farewell. The expression reads, unmistakably, 'well, that could have gone better.'
Above: 'I HAVE MADE IT AWKWARD,' Below: 'I WILL BE TAKING MY LEAVE.' A minor social blunder, met with the maximum available dignity.
Framed in antique garden roses and foxglove in dusty rose-pink, drawn as a Victorian engraving in charcoal-black ink. For everyone who has ever ended a conversation by walking briskly toward a different room.
The artwork leans devotional without becoming costume: candle flame, moon phases, and quiet floral ornament arranged like a private altar with excellent table manners.
Printed on soft ringspun cotton with a lightly weathered finish, so the whole thing reads less novelty tee and more found object with excellent timing.
