About this piece

A Victorian field-guide plate for the gloriously stubborn. At the center sits an unbothered tabby cat, half-lidded and judgmental, refusing to move while a storm rages on every side. Lightning, rain, a bent tree, a cottage just barely holding on. Below the chaos, the wild roses and clover grow defiantly healthy anyway. The cat does not care about the weather. The cat has decided to stay alive specifically to inconvenience the universe. Printed in deep charcoal-black ink on a light, soft tee, with a single touch of warm rust. For anyone running on pure stubbornness and a refusal to give anyone the satisfaction.

The artwork leans devotional without becoming costume: candle flame, moon phases, and quiet floral ornament arranged like a private altar with excellent table manners.

Printed on soft ringspun cotton with a lightly weathered finish, so the whole thing reads less novelty tee and more found object with excellent timing.
