About this piece

The horrors are, in fact, never ending. And yet here is a perfectly content skeleton, gently blowing the seeds off a dandelion puff like it has nowhere better to be. The whole joke lives in the small italic line underneath: 'yet I remain silly.' One half grave, one half cheerful. Existential dread and a dandelion wish, sharing the same body. Rendered as an antique Victorian plate in charcoal-black ink on a soft light tee, softened by a single touch of sage green. For the people laughing because the alternative is crying.

The artwork leans devotional without becoming costume: candle flame, moon phases, and quiet floral ornament arranged like a private altar with excellent table manners.

Printed on soft ringspun cotton with a lightly weathered finish, so the whole thing reads less novelty tee and more found object with excellent timing.
